I have been a volunteer for Follow Your Dreams since July 2016. I have learning disabilities, hypermobility and a speech impediment.
At first, I started just coming to the office, once a week, which has led me to currently volunteering 3 days a week.
Mostly i have a receptionist role, but i also help get things ready for events. As part of my role i have also given 1 to 1 support to young people, within the charity, to help them learn computer skills and subjects from our LifeWise sessions.
I live close to the offices and have a wonderful boxer dog named Marvin.
I am the biggest Disney fan, out there. I also do fun activities, such as, lyrical dance, disability badminton and drama, that i do weekly.
I took part in the play Our Way Project with MenCap and used to be able to do regular activities with Viva Wales.
