We’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to Stuart from RT Training Services based in Taffs Well for coming along to our LifeWise session this afternoon and providing the members with basic First Aid Training.
We learned how to apply a bandage, make a sling, deal with a nosebleed, put someone into the recovery position as well as practicing some first aid on “Billy” the dummy.
We would also like to thank him for our new First Aid Box for our group, and for stocking up our supplies at the office.

The group have also been doing extremely well with their Makaton signing .. the word for today being “Pain”.
Thank you also to our wonderful volunteer Pam for helping out at the session.
Next week we will be using our sewing skills to make cushions.
