What a moment... when our very own Charity Patron Sarah Gordy became the first woman with Down's syndrome to be made an MBE.

"I've worked really hard in what I believe in," Sarah said, who was recognised for her services to the arts and people with disabilities.
"I'd like to inspire others and empower others to believe in themselves, especially people with Down's syndrome."

Sarah is truly an inspiration to all our children and young people
